Hello everyone,
I know, I know, I've been absolutely awful in terms of keeping up with this blog, but with everything going on right now, I completely forgot!! I looked today and the last time I wrote was March 10th! I'm sure most of you think I've fallen off the face of the planet, but I'm here, busy as ever, and very happy with how everything is going!
Where do I even begin- I guess I should start with the new job.... I love it!! I've been hard at work on the new products that we are developing, and since Opening Day, it's only been busier! It's great though; the people I work with, my new desk all decorated in Red Sox gear, and all the products! Couldn't be happier right now! I've also been working on a lot of the minor league products so I'm quickly becoming a baseball nerd- it's a little scary!
I've also been going nuts training for the triathlon. We have swimming on Monday, Running on Tuesday, biking or running wed-friday, Biking on Saturday mornings and a rest day on Sunday! It's been great- I've been training with a close friend from Topps and we are working through it. And let me tell you, the one thing I was the most terrified about (the swimming) is improving. The first day in the pool was a nightmare- you guessed it, grew up in a coastal state and I could not get the hang of breathing while swimming. I was like a fish out of water- but happy to say that I have figured it out and now I love it! Had my first fundraising event last night- a Beer Pong tournament for all my work friends. It was a great success with a decent turnout and Loretta and I pulled in $300! We are on our merry way with hitting our goals. Thank you all for your support!
Spring has officially sprung in NYC- temperatures hit 58 today and it was gorgeous! I took the camera out to lower Manhattan and was lucky enough to catch some great shots of blooming flowers! I love photographing flowers- the colors are always unreal! Hear are some of the pictures!

As you can see- the warmer weather is on it's way and so are the flowers! Time to start spending more time outdoors, time to spring clean and open up those windows that have been shut tight all winter! And I promise, I won't take that long to post in my blog again!
I'm in the works of getting a party time job with the Brooklyn Cyclones- the short season Single A team for the Mets! They have a position open for fan photographer so keep your fingers crossed that I get it! That would start in June and something to keep me busy... if that falls through, I'm taking Italian lessons the end of June! Always looking to do something new and exciting!
Happy Spring!
